Education and Professional Background:

Albert is a seasoned senior executive with over 25 years’ experience in institutional strategic leadership and governance. This includes extensive experience living and working with multiple cultures across Africa and Europe.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Edinburgh Business School Heriot-Watt University, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (First Class Honors) from University of Nairobi and a Higher Diploma from the Institute for Management of Information Systems (IMIS). He is a Fellow Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)UK, and a member of the Institute of Directors Kenya. He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor.

He is currently the Managing Director, Pretoria Portland Cement (PPC) Zimbabwe. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) CIMERWA PLC in Rwanda; CEO of Lafarge Cement Malawi; Chief Operations Officer East African Portland Cement Company; Vice President Strategy and Business Development Lafarge Africa PLC Nigeria; Managing Director Concrete & Vice President Business Support Lafarge Africa PLC Nigeria;  Regional Business Controller, Sub-Sahara Africa Lafarge Middle East & Africa; Group Chief Finance Officer Bamburi Cement Ltd; and as Group Finance Controller Bamburi Cement Ltd. Before that he served as a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Risk Management Solutions service line.

Albert comes with long Board experience and currently sits on the Boards of Angaza Technology Literacy Centre - Illinois, Chicago, USA; PPC Zimbabwe Ltd and Standard Media Group.
