Education and Professional Background:

Ali is a global banking executive with a unique blend of over 23 years of experience in multiple sector industries, with a background in multifaceted leadership, advisory and consulting roles spanning Europe, Middle East and Africa (MEA).

Ali is Alumni of Harvard Business School. He has successfully completed the General Management Program GMP31 at Harvard Business School. Ali holds an MBA with a major in Islamic Banking and Finance from Pebble Hills University and is a certified Sharia'a Auditor & Advisor (CSAA), certified Islamic Finance Expert (CIFE), certified Islamic Banker (CIB), and certified Takaful Professional (CTP). He is an Associate member of Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (CISI) and an Associate of Accounting and Auditing from the Organization of Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI). He is an accredited trainer of Islamic Finance qualifications and a member of the Advisory Council Islamic Finance Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI) in the UK.

He previously worked as the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Incorporation Committee of Power Bank and as an Advisor to the board Kasada Group (QIA/ACCOR). He currently serves as the Chairman of Fingo, Vice Chairman of Bridge Innovation and as a board member of Flutterwave and of Ponea Health bv Holland.
